Pat O’Scannell

A singer and multi-instrumentalist, O’Scannell has been a major voice in the West Coast traditional Irish music scene for many years. Her band, Críona, toured in the 1980’s & 90’s playing folk clubs and concert venues from Southern California to British Columbia. She worked as a musician and musical director at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for over 30 years, and has made over 20 recordings including five in the Irish music genre: The Old Man’s Teeth, Críona Live!, Parcel from America, The Linnet’s Wing and An Cailín Gaelach.

She has appeared on the BBC, and her music continues to be heard on National Public Radio by syndicated radio stations worldwide, including Radio Berlin, and at home on syndicated programs such as West Coast Live, Prairie Home Companion and St. Paul Sunday to name just a few.

Pat has resided in Ashland Oregon since 1980 where she performs and teaches whistle, bodhran, bones and sean nos singing in Irish & English. She is an active proponent of Irish Gaelic, and its importance to Ireland and Irish culture. She is a devoted player of the gaita, the Galician Celtic pipes from Spain, and specializes in European historic performance practice techniques from 12th -17th centuries.

Pat currently directs a Gaelic choir in Ashland Oregon called ANAM, and has added the Irish flute to her list of instruments within this genre.

Christy is a singer, songwriter musician, folk artist and performer of songs old & new from Irish to World Music.

Born in Dublin, he has performed at O’Donoghue’s and in many other establishments there, and in venues from Derry to Kerry. In Germany he toured folk clubs & festivals, and performed for Irish plays such as The Hostage in Berlin. He also performed in theatrical venues across the U.S. He has played in Athens Greece, in Copenhagen, and throughout Norway & Sweden. Christy has performed in Chicago, New Orleans, for Bumbershoot in Seattle, and ArtQuake in Portland, as well as in B.C.

Over the years he has performed in concerts folk clubs and festivals in Ireland and all over Europe, the U.S., The Emirates & Canada. Delaney is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, playing tenor banjo, mandola, guitar, mandolin, fiddle and more. He is a seasoned performer who delivers a strong performance every time in concert, either alone or in ensemble.
