James Edwards on the Lute

First Fundraiser a Big Success

Musica Matrix has had its first fundraiser for 2016, and raised over $2,500.00!

Attendees enjoyed Renaissance music performed by Ensemble Fontegara, the Medieval choir Gothic Voices, and James Edwards on the lute while sampling delicious hors d’oeuvres paired with complimentary wines plus dessert. If you missed it, well, you missed a good time.

We want to give special thanks to Ginger Johnson who served as our lively and spirited MC. Thanks also to our fundraising and publishing advisor, Stacy Bannerman.

MM has already been awarded grants by the Carpenter Foundation, the Jackson County Cultural Coalition and the Oregon Community Foundation. We are currently working on grants to bring school programs in historic music to Southern Oregon.
